Skin Treatments
Why have your skin treatment at home?
We all have certain things we’d love to improve on when it comes to our skin but we don’t all have time to get to the Salon. We have a treatment to target most skin concerns and are more than happy to do a quick skin consult over the phone to help you decide on the treatment that would be best suited to you.
Skin care treatments
A luxurious hydrating facial. Starting off with a double cleanse followed by a facial massage you’ll be soothed into a deep relaxed state. An exfoliating mask is then applied and left to do its magic while you enjoy a scalp and shoulder massage. An active serum customised to your skin type is then applied followed by a rich moisturiser to leave your skin feeling smooth, hydrated and fresh. Incorporate this with a Mini Microdermabrasion and boost your results! Great for skin that needs a pick me up or those looking for a good old fashioned relaxing facial.
Microdermabrasion is a simple, non-invasive skin treatment that exfoliates and buffs away the top superficial layer of dry and dead skin leaving you with a smooth and radiant complexion. You can either opt for Microdermabrasion or the upgraded Hydrabrasion, sometimes known as microhydrabrasion. Hydrabrasion s the latest technology in microdermabrasion and uses a pressurized water system in place of the crystals or grains used in the older microdermabrasion machines. It gives the same fantastic results, however, it is much less abrasive, more hydrating and better for sensitive skin. The list of benefits from a Microdermabrasion treatment plan is extensive and it really does wonders for the majority of skin types, including targeting fine lines and wrinkles, dull, congested skin, light pigmentation and uneven skin tone, large pores and blackheads.
Skin peels or chemical peels are a great way to treat a multitude of skin concerns. Ranging from exfoliating and removing dry, dull skin and congestion to anti-ageing or to target skin concerns such as acne and mild scarring. Prior to your treatment you will do a skin consult with your therapist who will advise you on which is the best peel for you. Targets similar concerns to that of a microdermabrasion however is a chemical exfoliant vs a mechanical exfoliant and is slightly more aggressive as a treatment plan.
Dermaplaning is performed using a sterile surgical blade. The blade is worked over the face removing the outer layers of dead skin cells as well as any fine vellus hair. Ideal for finer hair that cannot be treated with laser as well as sensitive skin that is not suited for microdermabrasion or other forms of chemical or mechanical exfoliation. Followed by a hydrating face mask this treatment leaves skin feeling baby smooth and hydrated. Great for before an event as it makes makeup sit much better on the skins surface, won’t leave you red and has zero downtime.
Skin Needling works by creating microdamage to the skin causing the skin to go into repair mode boosting collagen and cell turn over. It is the most invasive of our skin treatments and involves a few days of down time whilst your repairs itself. It results in a firmer, plumper complexion and also targets uneven skin tone and pore size.
